Howie started Howie’s Pizza back in 2002 with a simple goal: to make exceptional pizzas for Calgary families and communities. What began as a small, family-run pizzeria quickly became a neighbourhood favourite — loved for its bold flavours, quality ingredients, and unmistakable Howie’s spirit.

Handcrafted Dough
Our dough is made fresh every single day, and baked to a golden finish for the perfect balance of soft, chewy, and crispy. It’s the foundation of every great pizza we make. We also offer high quality gluten free dough, some of the best in Calgary!
Signature Sauces
The sauce on your pizza is hand made from premium tomatoes and spices combined into Howie’s very own in-house recipe for an amazing marinara sauce – no standard run-of-the-mill pizza sauce used here!
Real Cheese, Plenty of It
We don’t cut corners on cheese. From mozzarella and cheddar to feta and parmesan, we use hand-grated and blended cheese mixes on our pizzas to deliver rich and melty flavour in every slice and gives each piece of pizza that picture-perfect pull.
Fresh Toppings
We use hand-picked local produce and hand-prepare all of our meats on all of our pizzas. That means you’re getting the freshest ingredients that you can trust in each and every bite.
Made to Order
No shortcuts, no premade pies (except for our take n’ bakes!). Every pizza is made fresh when you order. Our pies are made with care, consistency, and quality ingredients every time.
